The picture shows the size comparison of a 15.4-inch notebooks a 9-inch netbooks. This would already said, if these little things would not so much boom that all offers are sold out within hours or days and could not have inspired me to buy. Now I have such a tiny and can describe some first impressions.
- It has been well implemented the following classification: enterprises desk is the desktop with a "pretty big" monitor (= for serious work), used in all other places to the Notebook (= also for audio, video and games) and no later than when the domestic Leaves the field, one uses the Netbook (= this tiny flat). The true Mobilitätsfan then use their smartphone (where the iPhone is certainly a status symbol ;=)).
- A mobile computer is a netbook, really, for just over 1 kg (my budget balance shows 1112 g) can wear well and the battery has endured yesterday for 5 hours wireless internet!
- With Internet access you can chat without any accessories, phone calls or video conferencing. Skype makes this possible and the built-in camera and the two built-in microphones are quite sufficient.
- listening to music (of course only as background noise) and small for watching videos, it also reached (since I'm not a film fan, do not say).
- presentations (for example, should be stored at Google Docs & Spreadsheets) and slide shows a demonstration of good, for a projector can be connected, of course.
- Yes, and now come the first restriction, because for reading 9 in. There are some little. Most sites can indeed be shown in full width (and against too much advertising Firefox has fortunately Solutions), but to me it seems that the 1024 pixels on my larger monitor "more" than in this tiny. Assumption: The individual pixels are smaller? After a little getting used to, I'm coming with my Firefox browser in full screen (F11 key on and off) reasonably clear (sometimes also helps the magnification control via Ctrl and +).
Sure I will pursue in the coming months to develop further and then report here about my experiences.
wishes Until then have fun with their own experiments
