Twitter - yes or no?

The question is thinking about the meaning and personal value of these Twitterei I find myself not alone. By contributing in the blog Trainigskonzepte (Thank you Harriet Ellen!) I think now TwiTip a statement that "Twitter is as bad or as good as the users make it." Here are a few key words that I have tried to translate relatively freely (more than aid, less because of my abilities ;=)).

Jamie Harrop writes 5 tips along the lines of "If you should give Twitter a value, you should first give Twitter a value".

    Such a transfer (just as "RT twitter name" start) creates relations and friends shows the contribution of the person whose contribution you share.
  • Pick friends through feedback

    Add a few posts regularly note, but also the contributions of those who follow you. Give them a response (can simply exploiting "@ twitter name"), because the company (mostly) friends.
  • Enjoy Twitter as a party

    Do not expect quick results, because you must first honest and form solid partnerships.
  • Bring new people into

    Twitter is a game of emotions and partnerships. Show others how important their Tweets are for you. Build Win-win situations!
  • Start a conversation and share the results

    A good way to start is the interaction of polls, or even just asking a question. Use the necessary experience with weblogs for Twitter.
